Who can join?

ThinkSpot membership is open to Australians aged 14 and over.

Does it cost anything to join or be a member of ThinkSpot?

No! You can join ThinkSpot for free. There are no costs to remain an active member or to participate in research surveys.

How do I join?

Hit the Join tab above and fill out the registration survey. Once you submit your completed registration survey, we will send you an email confirmation of your membership. The registration survey questions are designed to help us find out all about you. We use your information to determine which future surveys may be most relevant to you.

How do I update my details and password?

Sign In with your current email and password. Click the Update Profile button that appears in the bottom left box on your member home page. Enter your new contacts in the relevant fields and click the "Update Detail" tab. If you change your email address, you will receive an email at your new email address asking you to confirm the change by clicking the confirmation link in the message.

I didn't receive the email confirmation message - what should I do?

Please check your 'junk-mail' folders to see if the email confirmation message has been delivered there. Also you can add no-reply@thinkspot.com.au and survey@thinkspot.com.au to your address book.

To have the confirmation email resent to you, visit the forgotten password page and enter your email address (username) - the confirmation message will be resent.

I am a Dodo customer and have not received my confirmation email from ThinkSpot. What should I do?

Unfortunately we are having problems with Dodo accounts. We have been advised that these can only be resolved on a case-by-case basis by the account holder, so we ask you to make contact with Dodo yourself and they will assist you. We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause, but do encourage you to persist.

Are my personal details safe?

Yes. ThinkSpot will never sell your information to third parties, nor will we use your information to try to sell anything to you. We will use your email address to contact you with new research surveys that we think will be of interest to you. Please see our Privacy Policy for more detail on how we handle the information that you provide.

How do I sign in?

Hit the Sign in tab above follow the prompts. You will need:
1. Your email address.
2. Your password.

I can't sign in - what should I do.

Did you receive an email confirmation message and click the link as described in the message? View the topic "I didn't receive the email confirmation message - what should I do?"

Have you forgotten your password? Retrieve it using the forgotten password page

I forgot my password, what do I do?

Click the Forgot password link. When prompted, enter your email address that you registered with and we'll email your password to you.

How do I access new surveys to complete?

We will email you directly to invite you with surveys that we think will be relevant to you. Please add 'surveys@thinkspot.com.au' to your whitelists or address book to ensure that you can receive our invitations.

How do I find out if I've won a prize?

If you are a prize winner , we will contact you by phone or email to confirm that you have won a prize. Once we've made contact with you, we will confirm all required details to get the prize to you. Quarterly and new member prize winners' names will be published on the ThinkSpot Winners page.

I received an email from ThinkSpot telling me that there is a new survey for me, but the email was blank. What should I do?

Sign into your ThinkSpot account via the button at the top right hand corner of the homepage. You will need to sign in with the email address you registered with, and your ThinkSpot password. Once signed in, you will see a welcome message at the right of the screen, along with a list of any surveys you have waiting for you to complete. Click "Start" to complete the survey.

How do I opt out?

We value your opinions and hope you will have a long-term relationship with News Magazines as a panel member. If you do choose to opt out from receiving further research surveys from us, you can unsubscribe from the ThinkSpot panel by clicking the link at the bottom of any messages sent to your email account or via your Update Profile page.
